D65 Curriculum Forum: Science – Tues. Feb. 25

What are the standards, expectations and instructional approaches to teaching science in D65? How does the science curriculum consistently and systematically build upon each grade? How is technology being integrated into science instruction?  How will D65 curriculum align with the Next Generation Science Standards?

Come learn the answers to these and other questions you may have about D65’s Science curriculum next Tuesday evening, February 25th at 7 p.m. at Dewey Elementary School.

The evening will begin with a brief presentation about the elementary and middle school Science curriculum by Melanie Mudarth, D65 Science Curriculum Facilitator. There will be ample time devoted to questions and discussion.

The PTA Council is jointly sponsoring this event with D65. The forum is intended for all district parents and community members interested in learning more about D65 curriculum.

Dewey Elementary School is located at 1551 Wesley Avenue, between Lake and Davis Streets.

Mark your calendars for the last curriculum forum this year!
