Upcoming Programs at EPL

Research shows that parents reading to children advances brain development and school readiness, and strengthens parent-child relationships.

The Evanston Public Library is your partner in reading. In addition to our excellent collection of children’s literature, we have many, varied storytimes and events that make coming to the library a special destination! View the calendar.

Working parent? Register today for Family Storytime and Craft: Colors! Monday evenings at 6:30 PM. Main Library. Starts September 8. More storytimes at the Main Library and at the North Branch.

Introduce your children ages 5-12 to Shakespeare! Experience a fast-paced, fun-filled, musical presentation of “The Merry Wives of Windsor” and “Twelfth Night” with singer and music educator Lynn Sampson. Saturday, September 13, 1PM, North Branch. Please register.

Thanks to Foundation 65, our partner in ensuring that all District 65 Kindergarteners tour the Evanston Public Library and sign up for library cards. This year’s school tours begin in October.
