Parents of incoming freshmen and transfer students are invited to attend the annual “Parent-to-Parent” program sponsored by ETHS Parents Engaged, a group at the high school that fosters communication among parents, administrators, educators, and the community to promote the education and well-being of all ETHS students.
The event will be held on Wednesday, May 18, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Room E-112 at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave. in Evanston.
Parents and guardians of freshmen and transfer students entering ETHS next fall will hear from experienced parents about their impressions of high school life, including transitioning to high school, course options, homework, extracurricular activities, social issues, technology, college planning, and more. Current ETHS parents will be available to discuss issues such as how to best use the resources available at ETHS and how to effectively navigate the high school years. Parents are encouraged to bring questions!
