STEM/STEAM Summer Programs for High School Students

There are still several summer opportunities for your high school student to participate in STEM/STEAM programs at Northwestern. Graduating seniors are still welcome! Please contact Kristen-perkins@northwestern.edu with any questions.

STEAM Summer Design Teams — Two and a half weeks of shadowing and team-based design projects. July 18th-Aug. 3rd. All grade levels and experience levels! Apply at http://tinyurl.com/NUSTEAMDesign

–STEAM Student Research — One week working on computational design projects with NU grad students.July 25-29th. Need some minimal computer coding experience. Apply at http://tinyurl.com/STEMStudentResearch

–WiSTEM Shadow Day — June 6th — Girls in all grades and experience levels, shadow with NU Women in STEM fields! Sign up at: http://tinyurl.com/WiSTEMShadow2016

–Psychology Internship with Dr. Jennifer Tackett — 8 week unpaid internship in a psychology development lab at NU. Download the pdf for more information: TackettLab_Internship

–Brave Camp! — This camp is one week (various times during the summer). Held in Chicago, but run by NU students and industry partners. Girls ages 14-18 learn leadership, design thinking, and coding to solve community problems.
