Happy Spring Junior Volunteers!
I am happy to announce the dates for this year’s Junior Volunteer Days at the Evanston Animal Shelter! This year we will be meeting at the shelter on Saturdays at 11am for 60-90 minutes. Each month we will have a special guest. Stay tuned for each month’s theme and be sure to sign up on Eventbrite so we can make sure we have enough room and supplies for everyone. Sign up information will be sent out closer to each date.
Pencil in the following Saturdays to join us at the shelter.
Additional dates for sessions of Rescue Readers will be announced soon!
I hope you have all had a wonderful winter and are looking forward to helping out at the shelter this summer. We can’t wait to see you!

Open to daughters 4 and up, this workshop focuses on gaining comfort in your body and boosting self-esteem through dance. Bellydance started, historically, as a dance done by women, for women and is a wonderful art form to share with our daughters.
This is a great way to start creating an active lifestyle for your family, and is fun to boot! Your toddler will have the freedom to follow the ebb and flow of their interest, while you get to learn to move your body.
Looking to get your workout in? This class will do it so come dressed comfortably and be prepared to sweat! We’ll be barefoot for the class, so feel free to bring grippy socks (for you or your toddler) if that’s more comfortable for you.
