NOTE: This event was rescheduled from Sunday, February 8 to Sunday, February 15.Can you paint with your feet? Can you dance in full color? Put your boots to good use, and join us as we dance the winter blues away, and splatter some color into the cold!
The Evanston Arts Council and Downtown Evanston invite you to join Northwestern’s Dance Marathon team on Sunday, February 15, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the 909 Davis Plaza to learn a few simple steps and dance upon a painted canvas to see what kind of art we can make when we come together to jitter away the shivers. Just bring some old shoes and little rhythm, and we’ll provide the washable paint, protective covers for your boots, and the tunes.
This event is the first of this year’s Winter HeARTh series. Winter HeARTh started last year with Knitplosion and IceScape, and hopes to bring the community together through art in public spaces during the winter months.
