All kindergarten open houses will be held at our schools and will begin at 7pm. Please note that District 65 has 10 attendance-area elementary schools (grades K-5) and two magnet schools (grades K-8). Click here to view District 65 attendance maps. Applications for magnet schools and programs are available from January 31, 2017-August 9, 2017 for the 2017-2018 school year. The application process is open only to registered students living within the District 65 attendance boundaries.

Winter Break Camp – Ridgeville Park District – Registration NOW OPEN


Winter break may be a two-week vacation for District 65 school children, but not for most working parents. Ridgeville’s Winter Camp is a great way to make sure your kids are having a fun, structured, and supervised winter vacation. The camp will feature exciting art projects, games, and activities organized by our dedicated staff.

Dates: Dec. 27-30, 2016 and Jan. 3-6, 2017

Days: Tues., Wed., Thurs., Fri.

Times: 10am-4pm

(Extended Camp Available 8am-10am/4pm-6pm for $3/hr)

Fees (per day): $35 RPD Residents/$40 Non-Residents*

Location: Ridgeville Park Community House, 908 Seward.

District 65 Early Dismissal Camp at Little Beans Cafe Begins Sept. 21

District 65 Early Dismissal Camp

Starting Wednesday, September 21 from 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Wondering what to do with your kids on those monthly Wednesday early dismissal dates? Little Beans Café has a solution….early dismissal drop-off camp at Little Beans Café in Evanston for 4-11 years old!  Below is a list of dates that camp will be offered.  You can pack a nut-free lunch for your child or purchase a lunch from the café for $5.00.  One snack will be provided.

The camp will run on the District 65 calendar dates below from 12:30pm-4:30pm.

  • Sept 21st
  • Nov 8th (full day- times to be determined)
  • Dec 7th
  • Jan 18th
  • Feb 1st
  • March 1st
  • May 3rd

The cost is $40 for one child, $30 for first sibling and $25 for additional siblings.

Registration for each date must be done in individual transactions to keep accurate rosters.

Fall Tinkergarten Classes

We had an incredible summer at Tinkergarten and are now offering classes for the Fall! Come join us as we explore, create, and learn in the best classroom of all – the outdoors. 

We are offering FREE classes for you to come see what it’s all about! Trial classes offered September 10th and September 13th with classes beginning the following week.

Alice Through the Looking Glass Auditions – Tues. Aug. 30

If your 8 year old to 8th grader wants to be in a show this fall, auditions for Alice Through the Looking Glass on Tuesday August 30th at the Levy Center, and Thursday September 1 at the Gibbs Morrison Center on Dodge and Church, both from 4 to 6pm.

Kit Gymnastics Registration Open

Registration for the Kit Gymnastics 2016-2017 grade school program is now open (classes are held in the ETHS gymnastics gym). Classes will most likely fill quickly. The grade school program is for 1st-8th grade girls and boys; the level range is from beginner to advanced gymnasts. All levels are welcome and supported!

Math Camp Enrolling Now

Licensed professional teacher and licensed clinical social worker, Tracy Loland is offering summer Math Camp with the theme: “Enrichment Math Is for Everyone”. Whether you’d like your child to sharpen essential math skills, or explore and experiment with math far beyond what any school curriculum can do, Math Camp is the solution.

Students will collaborate on activities and games and boost confidence levels as they take on active roles as problem-solvers. Using the highest-quality curriculum, students will work out problems and puzzles, while doing lots of work on reinforcing fundamental skills.

Math Camp sessions are held in southwest Evanston, near Main and Dodge.

Summer I, from June 6–July 1 (8 sessions), $200

  • Grades K–2: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00–11:30 am
  • Grades 3-5: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00–4:30 pm
  • Grades 6-8: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00–11:30 am

Summer II, from July 25–August 19 (8 sessions), $200

  • Grades K–2: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00–11:30 am
  • Grades 3-5: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00–4:30 pm
  • Grades 6-8: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00–11:30 am

There will be no more than four students in each session. The grades listed below refer to the grade your child will be entering in the fall. To enroll your child(ren), simply contact Tracy Loland by phone: 224-392-8994, email:, or on this site to inform her which session you’re enrolling in, and to arrange for payment to reserve your child’s spot. Payments can be made on the payment page, or you can pay by cash or check.

If you’re interested in summer Math Camp but these times don’t work for you, just contact Tracy. She will offer additional sections on different days/times as needed.
